Executive Program in PR Practice

This online short-course includes three Nationally Recognised Training units written and delivered by practicing PR professionals.  The course has been designed for anyone wanting to brush up on today’s PR 'tools of the trade'; those working in a related field looking to transition into PR; and for practitioners returning to work after a career break.

Course content focuses on skills, tools, techniques and practical templates across three critical areas:

  • Campaign development - turning a brief into a professional PR proposal that delivers results
  • Project management - focusing on experiential marketing and leveraging campaigns across traditional and social media 
  • Social media - campaign development, integration and measurement

Executive Program in Brand Activations & Events

This part-time professional practice course is designed for anyone wanting to acquire speciality knowledge, insights and tools to deliver outstanding events, experiences and activations, from end-to-end.

Course content focuses on skills, tools, techniques and practical templates across three critical areas:

  • Developing and implementing an event plan to meet set objectives
  • Project management skills to plan, execute and evaluate an event
  • Leveraging tools and techniques to ensure maximum impact across all potential channels

Graduate School

HSPR Graduate School alumni are in high demand! This intensive ‘adjunct’ to a university degree provides a fast track to career success for final year PR/Comms students.

Developed to address the gap between PR study and the realities of the PR workplace, these two weeks of small group work-readiness training onsite at Hausmann HQ delivers all the practical skills of working in PR  that can't be taught in the lecture theatre.  Learn the necessary job skills and get advice, counsel and insider tips from experienced practitioners and industry experts – all delivered within the fast paced, real-life setting of one of the country's leading PR consultancies. Graduate School takes place in February and July annually.

Designed for new PR practitioners working in entry level positions in agencies and corporate roles who are keen to expand and hone critical vocational skills to fast track on-the-job training. Held over eight weeks of weekly evening classes onsite at HSPR and online workshops focused on vocational skills training for current PR practice.

With over 30 years’ industry experience, Judi Hausmann is the founder and CEO of The Haus incorporating the flagship consultancy Hausmann Communications and healthcare specialist agency Health Haus.

Sarah Mason


With a career spanning over 20 years in public relations practice including long term senior roles at Edelman Public Relations, Hausmann and Saatchi & Saatchi International (London), Sarah has run her own consultancy for the past five years.

From global brands to local stores, Sarah has developed and managed all aspects of PR practice acquiring speciality skills in creative campaign development, media relations and event management.

Sarah returns to The Haus as the General Manager and principle trainer of HSPR. With Sarah’s exhaustive industry experience, her gift for training and mentoring and a passion for sharing her PR knowledge, HSPR will set the quality benchmark for PR practice in the future.
